TEVACONTROL
The values wet bulb for which the evaporative equipments are selected happen a small part of the operation time. For the most part of the year, the evaporative equipments works below the design values, with air flow and electric power absorbed superiors to the real necessities.
The TEVACONTROL equipment is designed to maintain a modular regulation of the fans speed by means of the temperature control in the basin. This system eliminates the motor-fan electric starter, provides bigger stability in the operation and bigger energy saving that any other system control of capacity working in stages, and increases the useful life of motor-fans and drivers, due to the progressive starter.
The equipment is formed essentially of a closed box, protection IP 65, for outdoor use, with forced ventilation of filtered air. It contain:
- Frequency converter programmed for the evaporative equipment characteristics; number and power motors, temperatures…
- RFI filter for elimination of radio frequency emissions.
- Power motors contactors and their heating resistances if exist.
- Thermal relays and electric fuses.
- Voltage transformer.
- Push-button with light indicators of on / off, protection IP 65.
The equipment is completed with a sensor for temperature or pressure measurement and electric wiring from motors and sensor until the speed control equipment, for a maximum distance of 2 meters to the base of cooling tower or evaporative condenser.
