Silencers
For the suction and discharge of the air in the cooling towers series TVC, RVC and evaporative condensers CVC.They are formed by an external casing made in glass reinforced polyester (GPR), flanged to facilitate the extraction in the maintenance operations. The external finish is to great hardness Gel-Coat and the internal surface is covered by a raincoat resin.
The sound absorbing baffles are formed by frames in galvanized sheet (stainless steel for the silencer on outlet), with aerofoil to minimize the pressure drop of the air.
The interior contains rock wool panels, fireproof and resistant to moisture, characteristics suitable for the type of noise to cushion. The outer surface of the phono-absorbent material is specially protected to work in very humid environment.
The silencers located on the air outlet, incorporate register door in the plenum, between drift eliminators and baffles to facilitate maintenance works, inspections and cleanings.
